For years,

I only see how messily

you clutter the curb

and drain.

 

Today, I watch how you

bid goodbye to the sprig,

waltz with the gentle breeze,

make a turn,

head high,

shoulders back,

perfect your posture,

rise and fall,

glide to land

and rest.
