I Measure the Sunset With Steps I Take
From the book "Persephone's Spring"
I sleep and wake, wake and sleep and wake.
I ponder things that most I fear.
I measure the sunset with steps I take.
I watch the moving clouds to claim their stake.
I know the rain will rain, the sky will clear.
I sleep and wake, wake and sleep and wake.
All I see, all I hear, I wish all were fake.
God’s blessing,
